Sources: Rangers star Josh McPake agrees to join Queens Park
Rangers winger Josh McPake has agreed a deal to join Queens Park, sources have told Football Insider.
The Scottish Championship new boys have won the race for the 20-year-old’s signature ahead of a number of clubs north and south of the border.
McPake, who has previously had three stints away from Ibrox on loan in England, is keen to stay in Scotland and Queens Park will also offer him regular first-team experience.

McPake has two years left to run on his Ibrox contract after signing a new three-year deal last summer (2021).
Football Insider reported last week (12 July) that Queens Park were among five clubs interested in signing the Scotland Under-21 international.
EFL trio Hartlepool United, Stevenage and Crawley Town as well as Scottish Champions side Dundee were interested in his signature.
He previously spent the first part of the 2019-20 season on loan at Dundee where he played seven times before injury cut his spell at Dens Park short.
His only first-team appearance for Rangers came shortly before his temporary spell at Dundee in a Europa League tie against Gibraltese side St Joseph’s at Ibrox in July 2019 under Steven Gerrard.

As well as his spell with Dundee, he also enjoyed loans with Greenock Morton, Harrogate Town, Morecambe and Tranmere Rovers.
McPake, who turns 21 next month, has racked up 61 senior appearances in that time, scoring seven goals and providing three assists.
