Sources: Stevenage agree to sign Aberdeen midfielder Dean Campbell on loan
Aberdeen midfielder Dean Campbell has agreed to join Stevenage on loan, Football Insider understands.
The 21-year-old is not part of the first team picture at Pittodrie ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that a number of clubs have shown an interest in signing Campbell but Stevenage have won the race for his signature.
The centre-midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan at Kilmarnock and helped them gain promotion back to the Scottish Premiership.
He made eight appearances for Derek McInnes’ side of which six were starts.
A move to League Two side Stevenage will allow Campbell to continue his development by playing regular football.
