Stoke City are in advanced talks for highly-rated South Korean attacker Joon-ho Bae, sources have told Football Insider.
Joon, 19, is regarded as one of the best young prospects to emerge from South Korea in recent years and has caught the interest of a number of European clubs.
The attacking midfielder has impressed for Daejeon Hana Citizen in the K-League as well as on the international stage with South Korea Under-20s.
Joon helped his country finish fourth at the Under-20 World Cup in Argentina earlier this summer, scoring three goals in seven games.
Stoke have been busy so far in this summer transfer window and they see Joon as somehow can add some creative flair to their attack for this season as he can play anywhere across the frontline.
Stoke see the teenager as a potential star in the making and they are keen to lure him to the English Championship.

Joon started 12 of those games and played a total of 949 minutes for the first team.

The Potters have been very busy in the transfer market, with over 10 signings so far coming through the doors.
Alex Neil’s side have won two of their three Championship games for far this season and have also progressed to the second round of the League Cup after a 2-1 win over West Brom.
