Sources: Stoke City star Aden Flint undergoing Sheffield Wednesday medical after deal agreed
Stoke City defender Aden Flint is having a medical at Sheffield Wednesday ahead of a loan move, sources have told Football Insider.
Promotion hopefuls Wednesday are putting the finishing touches to the move for the centre-back, 33, after fending off interest from a number of clubs.
The terms of the deal have been agreed by all parties and it is expected to be completed imminently.

The former Cardiff star is out of contract in the summer and Stoke are open to letting him leave to free up space in their squad for their own potential transfer signings.
Sheffield Wednesday boss Darren Moore is keen to bolster his defensive options before the transfer window closes and he sees Flint’s experience as key to his plans as they battle for promotion from League One.
Flint has struggled for game time since moving to Stoke on a one-year contract in the summer.
He started the season brightly and played the full 90 minutes in nine of their first 11 fixtures, but he’s not made an appearance for the side since the 4-0 defeat to Watford in early October.
Prior to his stint at Stoke, Flint had been a regular starter at Britol City, Middlesbrough and Cardiff City.
He made over 200 league appearances for Bristol, scoring a remarkable 36 times during his five years at the club, which included winning League One in the 2014/15 season.

Flint then made a £7million move to Middlesbrough in 2018 and narrowly missed out on the playoffs after helping the club to a seventh-placed finish in the Championship.
A move to Cardiff followed in 2019 and Flint ended up seeing out the three-year contract he signed with the Welsh side.
