Sources: Swansea City set to terminate Joseph deal
Swansea are set to recall striker Kyle Joseph early from his loan spell at Cheltenham Town, Football Insider understands.
The 20-year-old has impressed during his loan spell at the League One club, scoring four goals and providing two assists in 19 appearances.
A Swansea source has told Football Insider that Swans boss Russell Martin is keen to have Joseph available to him for the second half of the season.
The Scotland Under-21 international’s loan is now expected to be terminated.
Joseph joined Cheltenham on 31 August 2021 after joining the Swans earlier that summer.
He arrived from Wigan Athletic after scoring five goals in 20 senior appearances.

Before joining Cheltenham, Joseph did make two appearances for Swansea in the League Cup but failed to score.
After scoring on his debut for Cheltenham, Joseph had to wait seven games for his next success in front of goal.
That came in the form of a brace against Morecambe on 19 October.
His final strike for the club came on 11 November in a 2-1 win over Shrewsbury.
He also featured in the defence for Cheltenham, playing as a full back in the club’s 23 November win over Gillingham.
Joseph was quoted by BBC Sport as saying “as I’m on the pitch I’m happy”.
The striker leaves Cheltenham 15th in League One.
As it stands, Swansea are 17th in the Championship after a poor run of form.
Martin’s side have only won one of their last league six games.
