Sources: Ten Hag ready to accept offers for more Man United stars

Erik ten Hag is open to offers for several fringe Man United stars with funds needed to launch a move for a marquee striker, sources have told Football Insider.

Football Insider revealed on Monday (24 July) that the Red Devils are ready to let a host of fringe stars follow Alex Telles out of the club.

Telles has already joined Al-Nassr on a permanent basis after spending last season out on loan at Sevilla.

It is believed the likes of Scott McTominay, Fred, Eric Bailly and Dean Henderson are prime candidates to join the exodus this summer.

David De Gea, Axel Tuanzebe, Phil Jones and Zidane Iqbal have already departed the club this summer.

But a well-placed source has told Football Insider that several other fringe Red Devils stars are believed to be up for sale with the club needing to raise funds to make a deal for Harry Kane or Rasmus Hojlund possible.

Football Insider revealed last week (21 July) that Man United remain in pole position to seal a deal for Atalanta striker Hojlund despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

Meanwhile, sources have also told Football Insider (24 July) that Old Trafford is Harry Kane’s preferred destination this summer with Tottenham now open to selling the striker.

Interest has been lodged in Harry Maguire in the aftermath of his removal as Man United captain.

Man United

Football Insider revealed earlier this month (16 July) that West Ham lead Newcastle United in the race for the England international.

Anthony Martial, Victor Lindelof, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Brandon Williams have all entered the final 12 months of their Man United contracts and could move on this summer.
