
Sources: Tottenham could now hijack £60m Chelsea deal
Tottenham are in position to hijack a kit manufacturer deal between Chelsea and Jordan, sources have told Football Insider.
The US brand are eager to expand their partnership program in football and ideally want to strike a deal with a London-based Premier League side.
As revealed by Football Insider, Chelsea are deep in negotiations with Jordan over a kit manufacturer deal.
The Chelsea owners – Clearlake Capital – share strong ties to the US brand and were first in line to negotiate a deal.
Jordan are willing to pay up to £60million per season to partner with a Premier League club.

However, there are fresh concerns over the Chelsea deal with the Blues at risk of missing out on European football for a second successive season.
There are worries that a £60million per season deal would also struggle to meet the Premier League’s fair market value assessment.
Tottenham could now hijack the deal with Ange Postecoglou’s side on track to qualify for the new format of the Champions League next season.
Sports business expert Lukasz Baczek reported that Jordan’s preference is to partner with Chelsea but they are now “closer” with Tottenham.

Tottenham are currently partnered with Nike as their kit manufacturer and Jordan are a branch of the global sports brand making it an easy transition for all parties.
