Sources: Tottenham ready to block Hojbjerg move to Saudi club
Tottenham are not willing to lose Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Saudi Arabia or Turkey in the final days of their respective windows, sources have told Football Insider.
The 28-year-old was the subject of late-window interest from Fulham last week, but was not willing to join the Cottagers.
Hojbjerg was also wanted by Atletico Madrid, but the Spanish club only made a loan offer for his services.

Tottenham were keen to receive a transfer fee for the Denmark international, but have now blocked any exit as they are no longer able to bring in a replacement.
Turkey’s transfer window closes on 15 September, while Saudi Arabia’s cut-off is later this week (7 September).
European giants Galatasaray have been linked with a move for Hojbjerg before that deadline.
The Spurs midfielder has featured for Ange Postecoglou’s side this season despite the interest in his services.
He has made three substitute appearances and was named in the starting lineup for the League Cup loss against Fulham last week (29 August).
Hojbjerg was a favourite under previous managers Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho.
He has racked up 149 appearances for Spurs since joining from Southampton in 2020 – notching 10 goals and 16 assists.
The midfielder’s contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which nets him a reported wage of £100,000-a-week, is set to expire in June 2025.

Postecoglou’s side sit second in the Premier League after picking up 10 points from their opening four top-flight games.
Spurs face Sheffield United after the international break (16 September).
