Sources: Tottenham told Antoine Semenyo asking price as Bournemouth accelerate replacement
Bournemouth have a contingency plan if Tottenham pay the asking price for Antoine Semenyo, sources have told Football Insider.
The Cherries have placed a £70million asking price on the 25-year-old’s head and are confident of sealing a swift deal for a replacement if that price tag is met.
Tottenham have made contact about a potential deal – leaving Bournemouth with the very real possibility of losing four key men in the summer transfer window.
Dean Huijsen has already completed a Real Madrid move, Milos Kerkez is expected to join Liverpool – and Paris Saint-Germain are in advanced talks to land Illia Zabarnyi.
Bournemouth face fourth key exit
As such, it is believed Bournemouth are in a position to hold out for top dollar for Semenyo.
The Cherries star is a good fit for Thomas Frank‘s all-action style following the Dane’s appointment at Tottenham this month.
Semenyo hit 13 goals and notched seven assists in 42 appearances for Bournemouth in the 2024-25 campaign.

He played both on the left and right flanks for Andoni Iraola‘s side as the south coast club finished ninth in the Premier League table.
Tottenham’s potential move for Semenyo comes amid uncertainty over the future of club legend Heung-min Son, who is a top target for Saudi Pro League clubs as he enters the final 12 months of his contract.
Meanwhile, the Bournemouth star is under contract until June 2029 after penning a new Vitality Stadium deal last year (2024).

Tottenham also eyeing Garnacho deal
Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed (19 June) that Man United are hoping for a bidding war for wantaway winger Alejandro Garnacho this summer.
The 20-year-old is a target for Euro giants Napoli and Atletico Madrid as well as Premier League trio Chelsea, Aston Villa and Tottenham.
Sources say bidding is expected to start at around £50million in the coming days and weeks, with Garnacho expected to leave Man United before the 1 September deadline.
