Sources: Van de Beek could quit Man United in next days after deal collapses
Man United would like to move midfielder Donny van de Beek on as transfer windows slam shut worldwide, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed there will be options open to the 26-year-old in Turkey, where the window is open until next week (15 September).
Van de Beek was the subject of interest elsewhere before the English window shut, but couldn’t agree a move away from Old Trafford by 1 September.

He had options in Europe, with a potential move to Ligue 1 outfit Lorient falling through and interest from La Liga side Real Sociedad failing to materialise.
Van de Beek now finds his list of possible destinations more and more limited.
The midfielder is yet to play a single minute of action so far in the 2023-24 campaign.
He made just 10 appearances last term, with a serious knee injury keeping him out of the majority of the campaign.
But prior to his injury Van de Beek was not a regular in the side, despite being joined by ex-manager Erik ten Hag at Man United.
He has played 120 times under former Ajax boss Ten Hag, notching 32 goals and 29 assists.
Van de Beek left the Dutch giants for Man United in 2020, costing them a reported fee of £39million.
The 19-cap Netherlands star signed a contract at Old Trafford running until June 2025.

He has made 60 appearances across all competitions for the Red Devils, starting in just 23 of those outings.
Everton previously took the midfielder on loan in the second half of the 2021-22 campaign, but he made just seven appearances for the Merseysiders.
