Sources: Watford ready to accept Tom Ince offer

Watford winger Tom Ince has been made available for a last-gasp loan move, sources have told Football Insider.

Ince, who joined Watford last summer from Reading, is open to a temporary loan move in the second half of the season in search of more game time.

The 32-year-old has made 20 appearances in all competitions for Watford this season, but only eight of those have come as a starter.

Ince, who came off the bench in Sunday’s FA Cup draw with Southampton, last made a start in November’s defeat to Leicester City.

The forward, who began his career at Liverpool, had spells at Blackpool, Hull City, Derby County, Huddersfield, and Stoke City before he joined Reading in the 2022 January transfer window, initially on loan before making it permanent.

He has scored two goals and provided two assists in the Championship for Valerien Ismael’s side this season.

Since his start for the Hornets in their 2-0 defeat against the Foxes, he has been handed just 75 minutes of league action.

He had a stretch of five games on the bench from mid-December to the start of January but came off the bench in Watford’s last two league games against Queens Park Rangers and Bristol City.

Ince has been prolific in the Championship across his career, bagging 93 goals and providing 61 assists across 384 appearances.
