Sources: West Ham decide to release ex-Rangers star Brian Kinnear
West Ham have decided to release goalkeeper Brian Kinnear this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The 22-year-old is out of contract with the Irons at the end of the season and they are not planning to offer him a new deal.
Kinnear has been told by the Hammers that he is free to join a new club ahead of the summer.

One possible destination for the young shot-stopper is Falkirk, who signed Kinnear on loan during the January transfer window.
The Scottish club were big admirers of his talent during his temporary stint and they are keen to keep him on a permanent basis when he becomes a free agent.
During his time at Falkirk, Kinnear has made three League One appearances for the club.
Two have ended in wins with clean sheets, while the only goals he conceded at the club came in a match against Dunfermline on Tuesday (7 March), when Falkirk fell to a 2-0 loss.
With three consecutive starts, Kinnear looks set to secure the No.1 spot for the remainder of the season.
Kinnear started his career north of the border with Rangers and rose through the ranks of the club’s academy.
In the 2020/21 season, Steven Gerrard named him in his Europa League squad.

But Kinnear failed to make his senior debut for Gers and the Hammers swooped in for his signature after he impressed during a trial period in East London.
He regularly featured for the West Ham Under-21s and conceded seven goals in five appearances before heading back north of the border.
