Sources: West Ham respond to Liverpool’s Jarrod Bowen plan
Jarrod Bowen is “content” at West Ham and won’t be leaving the club in the near future despite interest from Liverpool.
Sources told Football Insider on 5 October that Bowen looks unlikely to leave West Ham and that notion remains unchanged a month later.
His undying loyalty to the Hammers is noticeable with Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness exclusively telling Football Insider that Bowen could end up spending the rest of his career with West Ham.
Yet, with the Irons in a battle for relegation, a change in their Premier League status may prompt the Englishman to rethink his future.

Liverpool to lose out on Bowen as they continue hunt for Mohamed Salah replacement
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the Reds will likely walk away from a possible deal with the number 20 disappointed.
With a move for Bowen looking highly unlikely, sources told Football Insider that Mohamed Salah could be replaced by Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh after his impressive start to the 2025-26 campaign.
The Egyptian is out of contract the end of the 2026-27 season and, with his form deteriorating, Arne Slot is already working on a new right-winger.

Speaking on the Inside Track podcast over Bowen’s snub of Liverpool, I explained: “I don’t think he’ll be sold in the near future.
“There’s definitely no chance he’ll move in January because they will need Jarrod Bowen to try and help them stay up in the Premier League.
“He is the club captain, he is the talisman, he’s been top scorer for the last four years. So, he’s definitely not for sale in January.

“Things might change in some way, you just don’t know. If West Ham were to suffer relegation, then there might be a chance that Jarrod Bowen could move on.
“But every time there’s speculation about Bowen, it seems that he is content with life at West Ham.”
Michael Olise dream fading away as Liverpool back to drawing board on Salah successor
With the Irons’ talisman unlikely to leave the London Stadium anytime soon, the Reds will need to consider other options as they seek to replace their number 11.

Sources told Football Insider on 3 October that Liverpool are in an intense battle for Michael Olise.
The Frenchman had been linked with a move to Anfield over the summer, yet nothing materialised and with little progress on a deal, it seems that transfer could be off the cards.
Man City are also in the hunt for Olise, only adding to the growing competition which could make a deal for the talented attacker difficult for Slot.
