Sources: West Ham to accept Nikola Vlasic offer
Torino remain keen to sign West Ham outcast Nikola Vlasic on a permanent deal but are struggling to agree a suitable fee, sources have told Football Insider.
The 25-year-old had a decent loan spell at the Italian outfit last term but their buy option has expired.
It is believed Vlasic’s future lies away from West Ham and the Croatia international has not been involved in any of the Irons’ pre-season games so far.
A well-placed source has told Football Insider that the attacking midfielder is keen to leave the London Stadium and play regular first-team football elsewhere.
But West Ham are standing firm for now and are waiting for a suitable offer to arrive for Vlasic’s services – from Torino or elsewhere.
The 25-year-old went out on a season-long loan to the Serie A side last summer (2022) and managed five goals and eight assists in 37 appearances.
That move came after he managed just one goal in 36 appearances in his first season in east London.
The Irons paid a reported initial fee of £25.7million for Vlasic in 2021 but he fell out of favour with David Moyes after a poor start in the claret and blue.
His contract at the London Stadium is set to run until June 2026.

West Ham are yet to make a summer signing but are targeting several reinforcements after receiving a British-record fee for captain Declan Rice.
Football Insider revealed on Friday (21 July) that Moyes’ side want to sign a prolific striker, central midfielders and a new centre-back this summer.
