Sources: West Ham two-man list to replace Aguerd revealed after £30m+ news
West Ham have identified two players to replace Nayef Aguerd if he is sold in the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
As revealed by Football Insider on Thursday (28 December), West Ham are open to selling the Moroccan defender next month in a ‘surprise’ deal.
It is understood that the Irons have placed a £30million asking price on Aguerd so that his sale can fund new signings at the London Stadium.

West Ham are monitoring Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah and VFB Stuttgart star Dan-Axel Zagadou as potential targets.
Moyes is keen to replace Aguerd if sold with a younger and more athletic defender for the second half of the 2023/24 season.
Tah has played a crucial role in Leverkusen’s success this season with the German side currently sitting top of the Bundesliga ahead of Bayern Munich.
The German international has played 23 games across all competitions for Xabi Alonso’s side and scored four goals.
However, a January deal for Tah may be made difficult with Leverkusen not wanting to lose a key player during their title challenge.
Also on West Ham’s shortlist is Zagadou, who has previously been linked with a move to Manchester United.

The 24-year-old has appeared in every Bundesliga match for Stuttgart this season and is viewed as a younger and cheaper option.
Zagadou joined Stuttgart on a free deal in 2022 after his contract with Borussia Dortmund expired.
