But they will demand a big fee for his services if they are unable to tie him down to extended terms.

The midfielder’s current deal, signed back in August 2021, runs until the summer of 2024.

However, Wolves are keen to reward the academy product for his growth and development with a new contract.

They are reluctant to see Gibbs-White leave this summer and have set a big-money price tag to ward off any interest.

The England under-21 international spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Sheffield United, joining the Blades on the same day his new Wolves contract was announced.

He impressed during his time at Bramall Lane, helping the Blades reach the Championship play-offs.

The attacking midfielder scored 12 goals and 10 assists in 37 games with the Yorkshire outfit.

His performances caught the eye of talent spotters from other clubs but Wolves are keen to keep him on board.

He is set to return to Molineux for pre-season this summer, where he will try force his way into Bruno Lage’s plans.

Gibbs-White has played 86 times for his boyhood club so far, with 46 Premier League appearances to his name.
