Sources: Wolves set sights on signing another defender after Lage talks as Kilman to be sold
Wolves have set their sights on signing a senior centre-back this summer, Football Insider understands.
The Midlands club have identified the main positions for strengthening in the window after discussions with new manager Bruno Lage.
A Molineux source has told Football Insider Wolves’ priority is to recruit a left-sided centre-back who can operate in a flat back four or a three-man defence.
This site revealed in March the club are planning to offload Max Kilman, 24, this summer.
Wolves completed their first signing of the window earlier this week with the £4.5million capture of Yerson Mosquera.
The 20-year-old centre-back has joined the Midlands outfit from Colombian side Atletico Nacional.

Despite Mosquera’s arrival, Wolves are still in the market for another defensive recruit.
Lage currently has Conor Coady, Willy Boly, Romain Saiss and Kilman as his senior centre-back options.
However, Wolves are prepared to sell the latter of the quartet despite him signing a new five-year deal in October 2020.
The 24-year-old played 20 times across all competitions during the 20/21 campaign but fell out of favour under former boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
He made just three appearances in Wolves’ final 14 games of the season.
Meanwhile, Coady is understood to be a top target for Premier League rivals Everton.
Football Insider revealed on Friday (June 18th) prospective new manager Rafael Benitez has given the green light for the Toffees to pursue a deal.
Colombia youth international Mosquera will link up with Bruno Lage’s squad in July.
He has played 19 times since the Colombian top-flight kicked off in January
