Sources: Wolves to announce signing of Matheus Cunha replacement after deal agreed
Wolves are expected to confirm the signing of Jhon Arias from Fluminense in the coming days after agreeing terms, sources have told Football Insider.
Arias, 27, impressed during the Brazilian side’s campaign in the Club World Cup, and is set to make a £18million switch to Molieux.
Sources say that the winger is coming in as a direct replacement for Matheus Cunha, who joined Manchester United at the beginning of the window.
The Colombian will be Vitor Pereira’s second signing of the summer, after the Midlands giants brought in Fer Lopez from Celta Vigo earlier in the window.

Arias begins Wolves rebuild
As well as losing Cunha, Wolves have seen left-wing back Rayan Ait-Nouri join Manchester City, as well as captain Nelson Semedo reject a new contract and leave the club as a free agent.
Pereira will hope that Arias is one of a number of signings over the next few weeks, as he aims to rebuild his squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
As well as adding the Fluminese man, Football Insider exclusively revealed that Wolves are working hard to bring in a right-back in order to replace Semedo.
The Old Gold have reportedly lodged a £13million bid for Almeria defender Marc Pubill, who could fill the void left by the departing skipper.

Wolves work on completing double signing
Meanwhile, Wolves are working behind the scenes to complete two more signings, sources have told Football Insider.
Sources say that Wolves are hoping to bring in a new centre-back as well as a new goalkeeper before the transfer window shuts.
Pereira has been very open about his frustration at the lack of additions so far this summer.
The Portuguese manager has been forced to call up 10 youth players to first-team training, due to the lack of depth in his squad.
