Spotted: Celtic medical scheduled today as £40k-a-week ace touches down in Glasgow - reliable journalist

Chelsea ace Charly Musonda has been spotted in Glasgow after he touched down in Scotland to complete a loan switch to Celtic, according to a reliable journalist.
HLN reporter Kristoff Terreur claimed on his personal Twitter account on Monday morning that Musonda, 21, is scheduled to undergo a medical with the Scottish champions today (Monday) and will also wrap up a final round of talks.
It is understood that the Belgium Under-21 international has been a target of Brendan Rodgers for a long time, and the Hoops had beaten off competition from La Liga side Leganes and Nottingham Forest, who had made an approach to sign him.

The English-based Belgian reporter reported that Legans were only willing to pay a portion of Musonda’s wages, which HLN has reported to be £40,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgian attacker has only ever made a handful of first-team appearances in his time with Chelsea and has previously spent time on loan at Real Betis.
His stay at Parkhead is widely expected to last 18 months.
Football Insider verdict
It seems pretty conclusive that Rodgers is about to make his third signing of the transfer window – however Musonda is not what Celtic are in need of. The Hoops are not missing firepower, they simply do not have the defence to be able to maintain a proper run in European competition and it has also started to unravel their work in domestic competitions. The winter break looks to have invigorated the likes of Dedryck Boyata, but with Marvin Compper signed, only to be injured and not available for the Europa League, Celtic do not look up to speed at the back. Musonda is a quality signing and will do very well, but it adds more imbalance to what is already a side that is very top-heavy.
In other Celtic news, a BBC pundit has made a bold claim about Rangers’ ability to chase down the Hoops.
