Kane’s four-goal haul shot him to the top of the goalscoring charts in the race to win the Premier League Golden Boot this season, having trailed both Everton’s Romelu Lukaku and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez prior to the game.
He now heads into the final day of the season as the favourite to win the award, having scored 22 goals to win the accolade last season.
But the 23-year-old has already bettered that total with 26 goals from 29 appearances in the Premier League this season, with Tottenham set to visit Hull on Sunday.
The England international also becomes the first player to score four hat-tricks in a season for Tottenham since Jimmy Greaves during the 1968-69 season.
He is also only the second player this season to score four goals in the Premier League, joining goalscoring rival Lukaku in the exclusive club.
Son Heung-Min netted the other two goals for Tottenham during their 6-1 victory over Leicester, with Ben Chilwell pulling back a mere consolation goal for the home side.
In other Tottenham news, Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher believes this attacker is exactly what Tottenham want.
