Stan Collymore has heaped heavy praise on Aston Villa striker Keinan Davis after his impressive display against Norwich City and described him as “aggressive and pacey”.
The 19-year-old made his first league appearance of the new campaign against Norwich City at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon and produced two assists as Steve Bruce’s men came away with a 4-2 victory.
A strike from Andre Green and a hat-trick from summer signing Conor Hourihane ensured that Villa secured their first league win of the season.
However, it was the teenager who stole the show as he troubled the Norwich defence throughout the entire 90 minutes and linked up brilliantly with his fellow teammates.
Former Villa man Collymore was clearly delighted with the youngster’s performance and expressed his thoughts on his personal Twitter account during the match.
“Bullied and badgered defenders, aggressive and pacey,” he wrote, analysing the striker’s style of play during the first-half.

I'm sure a former Villan suggested that 3 days ago 😎

Davis managed to break into the Villa first-team last season, making a total of eight appearances in all competitions but failing to provide a goal or assist in the process.
However, after scoring in last week’s Under-23 match against local rivals West Bromwich Albion, the striker was given a chance to impress in the senior team and he certainly rose to the challenge.
In other Aston Villa news, this long-serving midfielder has decided to quit Villa Park this summer.
