Stan Collymore predicts Liverpool clash against Middlesbrough

Stan Collymore has backed Liverpool to put Sunday’s disappointing draw against West Ham behind them by beating Middlesbrough.
Jurgen Klopp’s side face Premier League new boys Boro on Wednesday night, after failing to overcome the Hammers during Sunday’s 2-2 draw.
Posting on his personal Twitter account on Monday afternoon, former Liverpool star Collymore claimed Liverpool would secure a 2-1 victory against Aitor Karanka’s side.

Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth ended Liverpool’s unbeaten run of 15 league and cup matches earlier this month, securing a 4-3 win despite being 3-1 down.
Now winless in two games, Liverpool’s title challenge has taken a sizeable hiccup as they look to claw in league leaders Chelsea.

Sitting in third, the Reds are six points adrift of Antonio Conte’s side and must secure three points to stay in touch with their title rivals.
Liverpool’s task is made harder as they continue to suffer a number of injury problems. Philippe Coutinho, Emre Can and Daniel Sturridge are all set to miss Tuesday night’s clash.
The Merseyside giants have picked up vtial points on the road this term. They beat Arsenal at the Emirates on the opening day of the campaign before securing an impressive 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge in September.
