Stan Collymore: This is what Tottenham fans will be feeling after pivotal Chelsea win
By Amir Mir
Stan Collymore has suggested that Tottenham fans will be feeling the pressure after Chelsea beat Southampton 4-2 on Tuesday night.
Those three points by the Premier League leaders at Stamford Bridge added with their FA Cup semi-final win against Spurs at the weekend is extremely pivotal to the title race.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will travel across London to face a Crystal Palace team that recently beat Liverpool away from home.
Added with that, Tottenham are now seven points behind Chelsea in the table and could all but end their hopes of catching their rivals if they suffer defeat at Selhurst Park.
This was Collymore’s brief yet simple Twitter message posted on his personal account after Antonio Conte’s team had increased the pressure on their London neighbours.

Striker Diego Costa netted a brace during the win against the Saints, with Eden Hazard and defender Gary Cahill also getting on the scoresheet.
Prior to that match, the Blues had lost two of their last four league games, including suffering a 2-1 home defeat against Palace.
Sam Allardyce’s team have caused a few upsets since he replaced Alan Pardew in the dugout in December, mainly over the last month.
Arsenal were hammered 3-0 by Palace in early April as the former England manager will now be targeting their north London rivals.
His main striker, Christian Benteke will go into the match on form and full of confidence after he netted a brace against his old club at the weekend.
In the other Tottenham news, Eden Hazard has this message for Spurs fans ahead of their clash against Crystal Palace.
