Four changes in Rodgers 4-2-3-1: Celtic best possible XI v Ross County

By Amir Mir

Celtic should make four changes for their visit to Ross County on Wednesday night and bring back Leigh Griffiths into the starting line-up.

Brendan Rodgers side recorded a 1-0 victory against Old Firm rivals Rangers on Sunday afternoon, with Griffiths coming off the bench to inspire his side to victory.

The Scotland international assisted fellow strike partner Moussa Dembele for the only goal of the game, so Rodgers should opt to play the duo in their Scottish Premiership clash in midweek.

Jozo Simunovic, Nir Bitton, James Forrest and Tomas Rogic should all drop out for Kolo Toure, Stuart Armstrong, Patrick Roberts and Griffiths.

Attacking duo Dembele and Scott Sinclair would cause the Staggies problems, as they have netted 13 Premiership goals between them this season.

Manchester City loanee Roberts must start on the right flank, as Rodgers should freshen up his attacking line, with Armstrong and skipper Scott Brown in midfield.

In defence the experienced Toure must return to the starting XI, after being dropped for the Rangers fixture.

He should partner the ever-reliable Sviatchenko in defence, with Kieran Tierney and Mikael Lustig at full-back.

The Bhoys are on 22 points after eight games, four ahead of their nearest rivals Aberdeen, who travel to Hamilton on Tuesday night.

In other Celtic team news, manager Brendan Rodgers has hailed this star duo for their impact during the 1-0 win against Rangers.
