Steve Archibald believes duo Harry Kane and Dele Alli must continue to show their best form if Tottenham are to achieve success this season.
The England internationals have been in wonderful form so far this season, both playing instrumental roles in helping Spurs climb to second in the Premier League.
Replying to a fan on his personal Twitter account after Spurs’ 4-0 win against Stoke on Sunday, Archibald wants “the flow” to keep going through Alli and Kane, with the midfield providing support.
Unfortunately we only have one striker we can rely on. I yearn for the days of Archibald, Crooks and Falco…

Spurs’ attacking stars were at their brilliant best once again on Sunday, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side demolished Mark Hughes’ Stoke at White Hart Lane.
Despite their midweek disappointment in the Europa League, Kane struck a superb hat-trick while Alli scored his 14th goal of the season thanks to a brilliant assist from the striker.
Wearing the number 10 shirt, Kane has now taken his goalscoring tally to an impressive 22 goals from 27 league and cup outings for the north London giants.
Both attacking stars are set to link up once again on Sunday, as Spurs face a difficult test at home against Merseyside outfit Everton.
Ronald Koeman’s side are unbeaten in their last nine Premier League outings, with the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Ross Barkley and Morgan Schneiderlin set to test Pochettino’s side.
In other Tottenham news, this Premier League team have become a watered down version of Spurs according to Jamie Redknapp.
