Summerville ‘nailed on’ to leave Leeds as ‘perfect’ deal emerges – Fans react

Leeds United fans think Crysencio Summerville is “nailed on” to leave the club this summer after interest from Crystal Palace emerged.

Summerville, 22, has been linked with moves to the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea, but Palace have emerged as a contender to secure his signature.

Reports claimed the Eagles are keen on signing the winger if they lose Eberechi Eze or Michael Olise this summer despite the competition.

Palace have a reputation for developing young talent out of the Championship as previously seen in Eze, Olise, Marc Guehi, and more recently Adam Wharton.

As a result, fans think Selhurst Park would be the “perfect” destination for Summerville, with the gap to Liverpool and Chelsea seen as too big a leap.

Leeds United fans tip ‘perfect’ Crysencio Summerville transfer

Football Insider reported on 31 May that keeping Summerville is now viewed as “impossible” after Leeds missed out on promotion.

In reaction to Palace’s interest, many Leeds fans insisted they would be happy to see him move to South London to continue to develop his game rather than be ruined at a bigger side as they saw previously with Kalvin Phillips.

One fan even insisted the deal looked “nailed on”.

However, some fans weren’t quite so pleased with the idea.

In other news, a big update has emerged on the future of Archie Gray.
