Sunderland fans rage at ‘confusing’ Romaine Mundle decision – ‘He has been well and truly found out’
Sunderland fans do not agree with a decision Regis Le Bris made during a 3-1 defeat to Fulham in the Premier League.
The Black Cats’ mixed Premier League form continued as a second-half double from Raul Jimenez set Fulham on their way to all three points at the Stadium of Light.
Enzo Le Fee pulled a goal back from the penalty spot before Alex Iwobi netted a third for Marco Silva’s side, who won for the first time in four Premier League games.
Sunderland‘s drop down the Premier League table continues, with Le Bris’ side now 12th in the standings, but they are still comfortably 11 points above the relegation zone.

Romaine Mundle ‘cost Sunderland three points’ vs Fulham
Le Bris lost both Nordi Mukiele and Jocelin Ta Bi to injury during the first half, with Romaine Mundle coming on to replace the latter in the 39th minute.
The 22-year-old though was blamed for Sunderland’s defeat, with fans believing he did not deserve to get on the pitch ahead of the other substitutes at Le Bris’ disposal.
Mundle, who has only started two Premier League games for Sunderland this season, also missed a golden chance in the second half, which did not go down well with the fanbase.
One supporter said that Le Bris’ decision to bring on Mundle is “one of the worst decisions he’s made,” whilst another fan claimed the forward is “miles off” being a Premier League player.
Sunderland make clear priority ahead of summer window
Mundle’s place in the Sunderland squad could be under threat in the summer, with the club looking to bring in a new striker.
With Wilson Isidor expected to leave the club, a place could become available for a new player to come to the Stadium of Light.

Despite their impressive first season back in the top flight, Sunderland have only scored 28 goals in 27 games.
Brian Brobbey is the club’s top scorer with five goals, so more firepower is needed at the top end of the pitch.
Sunderland also rank low among Premier League clubs for shots on target in a match, and they registered just two in their defeat at home to Fulham.
