Chris Sutton: Real Madrid will be looking at this Celtic player

Chris Sutton has claimed that Real Madrid will be taking notice of Kieran Tierney’s performances for Celtic and will be closely watching the 20-year-old.
Tierney has shot to prominence over the last 18 months after making the breakthrough under former Hoops boss Ronny Deila.
The left-back has become a mainstay in Brendan Rodgers’ side and is expected to make his 100th appearance for the Scottish champions on Saturday.
The Daily Record has claimed that a host of Premier League clubs have watched Tierney in recent weeks and Sutton has claimed even European giants like Real Madrid will be keeping tabs on the Scotland international.
“Tierney at £30m would be a bargain,” Sutton said, as quoted by the Daily Record website.

“He’s only 20 and with his attitude he will get even better.
“There’s absolutely no doubt he can cut it at the likes of United, Chelsea or Arsenal but I’d go even further. European teams will be looking at him – including the likes of Real Madrid.
“That’s how good he is and that’s why it’s hard to see him spending his entire career at Celtic.”
Tierney recently signed a new contract at Celtic to keep him with the Glasgow giants until 2023.
The left-back has been one of Celtic’s top performers this season – both domestically and in Europe – as well as forcing his way into the national team.
Brendan Rodgers and Gordon Strachan have used the Isle of Man-born defender in a variety of positions over recent months as he continues his development into a top-class player.
Tierney has been an integral part of Celtic’s side as they have racked up a 62-game domestic run without losing a game and could break a 100-year-old record this weekend if the avoid defeat to St. Johnstone.
In other Celtic news, Brendan Rodgers has confirmed his transfer plans for the January window.
