Keep it quiet but he would stroll the PL - Sutton delivers verdict on "outstanding" Celtic 26-year-old
By Aramide Oladipo
Chris Sutton has heaped heavy praise on Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths following his performance in the Champions League and claimed that he would “stroll” it in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old put on a dazzling display as the SPL champions stormed to a 5-0 win over Kazakhstan side Astana on Wednesday night at Celtic Park which has more or less assured them of a place in the Champions League group stages.
A brace from Scott Sinclair and a strike from James Forrest along with two own-goals put the Hoops in the driving seat but it was Griffiths who impressed on the night as he produced three assists in the match.
Reacting to the emphatic victory on his official Twitter account, former Hoops player Sutton revealed that he was impressed with Griffiths and fellow teammates Olivier Ntcham and Nir Bitton.
.@btsportfootball Bitton superb!! Ntcham really mature???? Griffiths would stroll the English Premier but keep it quiet….????Outstanding ☝️

Griffiths demonstrated that he could potentially deliver the goods in the Premier League as he produced two stunning free-kicks for the Scotland national team against England in the 2-2 draw last season at Hampden Park.
The striker has already scored four goals and provided five assists in just six matches this season.
In other Celtic transfer news, the Hoops have agreed terms with a goal machine and deal will be signed by Saturday.
