Szoboszlai and Endo react to Andy Robertson’s Liverpool ‘memories’ post

Andy Robertson has taken to Instagram to post a new message as the Liverpool squad bask in the glory of their title win.

After thrashing Tottenham 5-1 at Anfield on Sunday (27 April), Arne Slot‘s side confirmed their status as champions of England for this season.

For Robertson, that is now his second Premier League title, having also been a part of the Reds squad who won the trophy back in the 2019/20 campaign.

Not surprisingly given the scale of that success – having been secured with four games of the season to go – plenty of the Liverpool have been reacting to that on social media, and the Scot is no different.

Andy Robertson reflects on title celebrations

It has been a more challenging season for the 31-year-old, who has not been as reliable at times as he has previously been for the club.

Indeed, some Liverpool fans have even suggested that Robertson may now need to consider moving on at the end of the season.

Regardless of that, this is understandably still a period the left-back will reflect on fondly given what he and his teammates have achieved.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon (30 April) Robertson posted a video of himself and his teammates celebrating the title on the pitch after that win over Spurs.

The Liverpool star then added an seemingly emotional caption to that clip by simply writing the word: “memories”.

In response, teammates Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo both liked the Scotland international’s post, while another – Tyler Morton – commented with several applause emojis.

With Robertson’s form dipping and Kostas Tsimikas unable to prove himself as a regular starter, it seems inevitable the Reds will sign a left-back in the summer transfer window.

Indeed, Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for Milos Kerkez at Bournemouth, who would be an excellent option to fill that void.

The Hungarian has been one of the best performers in that position in the Premier League this season, and at 21-years-old is a much longer-term option than Robertson.

As a result, the Scot may soon find his game time more limited, so he will be pleased to have been a regular in a success as big as this for Liverpool before his role changes.
