Talks underway: Brighton open door to Rangers agreeing Abdallah Sima deal – sources
Brighton would be open to selling forward Abdallah Sima permanently to Rangers this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed that the 22-year-old does not fit into the plans of the Premier League side going forward as they have plenty of top-level attacking options at their disposal.
Football Insider revealed (28 December) that the Gers are well-placed to secure a permanent move for Sima and that talks are being held between the clubs.

The Seagulls value Sima at between £10-15million but this figure could increase if he continues his excellent form – especially in the Europa League.
If that was the case, it would smash Rangers’ longstanding transfer record, the £12m paid to Chelsea for Tore Andre Flo in 2003.
The Senegalese international is Rangers’ top scorer in all competitions this season after bagging 14 goals and two assists across 32 appearances.
His impressive displays in European competitions could make him an attractive option for other clubs, meaning Rangers would need to negotiate swiftly with Brighton if they want to seal a permanent move.
Sima netted three times in the Europa League group stages and was crucial in helping his side progress to the knockout stages.
He has been vital for Philippe Clement this season and his versatility has allowed him to play across the front line but predominantly on the left wing.

Rangers remain second in the Scottish top flight under an unbeaten Clement and next face Celtic in a highly-anticipated Old Firm clash on Saturday (30 December).
In other news, ‘A wild take’ – Rangers fans can’t believe Scott Brown’s prediction for Celtic showdown.
