TalkSPORT Super Computer predicts Leeds position after first five fixtures

By Harvey Byrne

A ‘Super Computer’ tasked with the job of predicting the Championship table after the first five fixtures has placed Leeds in fifth place.

Popular radio station TalkSPORT have ran their feature which sees them feed data into their prediction machine in an attempt to find out how England’s second tier will stand after five matches.

Now, the computer has tipped the Yorkshire giants to get off to a good start under last week appointment Thomas Christiansen with the prediction that they will win three, draw one while also losing one of their opening five matches.

The Leeds fixture list was revealed on Wednesday and they will kick off the season away at newly promoted club Bolton before hosting Simon Grayson’s Preston for their first home clash.

They will then complete their first five encounters against last season’s play-off rivals Fulham, recently relegated Sunderland and fellow Championship giants Nottingham Forest all to play in August.

Leeds fans will be happy if their side are sat in fifth or above after five matches as they look to better last season’s seventh finish.

Notably, the prediction machine has also tipped the Whites to place above Garry Monk’s Middlesbrough after five games, who have been placed in seventh, which would also leave Leeds fans delighted.

In other Leeds news, Garry Monk has sent a heartfelt message to Pep Clotet on Twitter.
