‘Ten Hag is getting sacked tonight’, ‘Out now, that’s it’ – Man United fans react to 2-0 West Ham defeat

Man United fans want manager Erik ten Hag sacked after their side lost 2-0 to West Ham on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils have dropped down to eighth in the Premier League table after a blunt performance at the London Stadium.

After a goalless first half, Jarrod Bowen and Mohamed Kudus scored for the hosts to inflict United’s eighth league defeat of the season.

The Manchester club have now failed to score in four successive games under the Dutchman and find themselves out of the Champions League and League Cup by December.

The former Ajax boss led United to League Cup glory last season, but has struggled for form in 2023/24 and has now suffered more defeats than victories this season.

Ten Hag has also invested more than £400million into his United squad since taking charge of the side in 2022.

United are set to be taken over by British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe next month, with his INEOS group set to be handed sporting control by the Glazer family.

Ratcliffe is expected to make several changes behind the scenes at Old Trafford including the club’s recruitment staff, and the club’s poor form could also leave Ten Hag’s job vulnerable.

United fans on social media have ran out of patience with Ten Hag’s management and want to see him sacked after their defeat in London.

United are set to return to Premier League action against Aston Villa on Boxing Day at Old Trafford.
