‘Terminate his contract’ – Leeds fans rage at player after what he did vs Nottingham Forest
Leeds fans have expressed their anger online at one of their first-team stars after his poor showing in their 3-1 loss to Nottingham Forest.
Leeds were in real need of a win away at fellow Premier League strugglers Nottingham Forest on Sunday (9 November).
Daniel Farke‘s side got off to an ideal start as Lukas Nmecha scored the opener in the 13th minute, but the hosts quickly hit back through Ibrahim Sangare.
Second-half strikes from Morgan Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson won the game 3-1 for Sean Dyche’s men, leaving them just two points away from Leeds, who remained in 16th position.
Farke has been under pressure at Leeds, and he received more criticism from their fans during and after the City Ground clash for his handling of a certain player.
Jack Harrison had a nightmare off the bench against Forest
Jack Harrison is already disliked among large sections of the Whites’ fanbase for the way he departed the club on loan to Everton after their relegation in 2023.
David Moyes did not rate Harrison as part of his plans for the future on Merseyside after his second loan spell last season, and so the decision was made for him to return to Farke’s set-up ahead of this campaign.
The 28-year-old had made 10 appearances in 2025-26 prior to the Forest game, and he was sent on to put a shift in at left-back late on in the game despite being a winger by trade.
Needless to say that Harrison did not cover himself in glory as part of a struggling backline, as he committed the foul on Omari Hutchinson that led to a Forest penalty in the 90th minute.
Harrison also failed to complete a successful dribble, failed to complete an accurate cross, lost all four of his ground duels and was dribbled past twice.
Leeds fans slam Harrison
Football Insider recently revealed that Harrison is unlikely to leave Leeds in January as it stands, which will only anger their supporters even more after this shoddy showing.
Taking to social media site X, one supporter wrote: “Harrison should never put a Leeds shirt on again, better off coming to some agreement to terminate his contract no club in their right mind would buy him,1 decent game out off every 8.”
Another said: “Literally one of the worst cameos I’ve seen ever from Harrison – should never have ever been anywhere near a Leeds shirt again – insane that he is he couldn’t care less – tbf the same could be said for a few of them – we are down don’t care what anyone says.”
While one supporter added: “Harrison at left back. I’m sorry. It’s time for change. Just to add, I never wanted to see Jack Harrison in a Leeds shirt again. I really want this now.”
