‘Terminated’, ‘Ten Hag is gone, good riddance’ – Man United fans are all saying the same thing on sacking

Many Man United fans have had enough of Erik ten Hag and want the “clown” sacked after their humiliation against Bournemouth on Saturday (9 December).

The Cherries were lethal in their 3-0 win at Old Trafford with an early strike from Dominic Solanke and second-half goals from Philip Billing and Marcos Senesi.

The Red Devils had the lion’s share of shots, possession and chances created, but Andoni Iraola’s side had the cutting edge to inflict United’s seventh defeat in the Premier League this season.

Pressure continues to mount on ten Hag, who has the club sixth in the table, a swathe of reported disillusioned players in his squad and minimal hopes of progressing in the Champions League.

The thin ice under his feet has shattered for many fans, who have taken to social media to call for the Dutchman’s head.

This fan slammed ten Hag for being “out of his depth” in Manchester.

One supporter admitted that it was time for the “embarrassing” boss to leave after a string of poor decisions.

This fan simply called for him to be axed from the Man United dugout.

This fan advised the boss to collect his things at Carrington.

One supporter pointed to the 53-year-old’s arrogance and “ego” as key to United’s current problems.

Another urged the club to “shift” the “disgrace” of a head coach.

Another fan put the blame solely on ten Hag for his lack of direction and man-management skills and suggested he tear up his own contract.

This fan was frustrated by the lack of obvious play style at Old Trafford and was baffled that he has been at the club for so long.
