'Terrible' - BT Sport pundit claims what must change after Rangers beat Aberdeen
BT Sport pundit Michael Stewart has claimed that Aberdeen must change their “terrible form” against the Old Firm clubs following Rangers’ 2-0 win against Derek McInnes’ men at Ibrox on Wednesday.
Alfredo Morelos and James Tavernier both found the net in each half to ensure Graeme Murty’s side leapfrogged the Dons up to second place in the Scottish Premiership table on goal difference.
Sean Goss, Russell Martin, Jason Cummings and Jamie Murphy all made their competitive debuts for the Light Blues in what was a thoroughly impressive performance against Aberdeen.
It was the first time that Derek McInnes took his side to Ibrox after snubbing the chance to replace Pedro Caixinha as Rangers manager in December.
However the former St Johnstone and Bristol City manager did little to prove that the Gers were missing out on him as he failed to earn a point against the Glasgow duo of Rangers and Celtic yet again.
Former Hearts player Stewart believes that it is an issue that McInnes must try to iron out soon, while admitting that it was a top performance from the Light Blues.
“Aberdeen’s terrible form against Rangers and Celtic continues this season. That needs to change. Great result for Rangers to get back into 2nd,” he said on his personal Twitter account after full-time.

After winning against Aberdeen, Murty’s Rangers are now 11 points behind Celtic after Brendan Rodgers’ side beat Partick 2-1 at Firhill on Tuesday.
