‘The FA agenda against Leeds revealed’ after new David Coote twist – fans react
Leeds United fans have claimed that the FA have an agenda against them after a new allegation has been put against suspended referee David Coote.
Coote is the subject of a betting probe as The Sun have reported that he texted a friend, “I hope you backed as discussed” as investigations into a yellow card have now begun.
Coote booked Leeds’ Ezgjan Alioski during their 1-0 win against West Brom in 2019, and the booking has now been brought into question by supporters after Coote’s text message.
The 42-year-old official has denied any wrongdoing in this situation and refutes the claims against him.
Coote is currently suspended and is being investigated by the PGMOL after his comments about Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp were leaked online.
Footage has also surfaced of the Premier League official snorting a white substance during the summer while he was working Euro 2024.
Leeds United fans have questioned David Coote’s decision
Leeds fans have used these allegations as proof to back up their claims that the FA have an agenda against them as they have made it clear that they’re unimpressed by the situation.
The Yorkshire giants have since released a statement on the matter which said, “Leeds United are aware of allegations regarding the conduct of a match official, involving our Championship fixture v WBA in Oct 2019.
“We respect and have full confidence in the FA, EFL and PGMOL regulations & processes. We will be making no further comment at this time.
