‘The next Harry Kane’ – Leeds fans wowed by ‘unreal’ wonderkid footage
Leeds United fans have been left stunned by the “next Harry Kane” in their ranks after his performance during their behind-closed-doors pre-season win against SC Verl.
Daniel Farke’s side continued their pre-season preparations in Germany with a 4-1 win, with two goals from Joel Piroe and one each from Wilfried Gnonto and Lukas Nmecha.
The game lasted 120 minutes, as arranged prior to kick-off, and saw SC Verl’s Jonas Arweiler pull one back for the German 3. Liga side in the 119th minute.
However, it was Harry Gray who caught the eyes of the watching supporters as the 16-year-old picked up an assist in a “marvelous” display.
Just two years after his brother Archie enjoyed a breakthrough season, fans are tipping him to do the same following his pre-season displays.
Archie’s displays earned him a £40million move to Spurs, who had also considered signing Harry, but the teenager recently put pen to paper on a scholarship deal at Elland Road.

Patrick Bamford to quit Elland Road after Daniel Farke decision
Gray’s place on the pre-season tour has come amid ongoing speculation about Patrick Bamford’s future after Daniel Farke confirmed he would leave the club this summer.
Football Insider exclusively revealed on 21 July that Bamford is open to staying in England but could move abroad as he prepares to leave Elland Road.
The 31-year-old looks set to leave ahead of the new Premier League season, after spending seven years at the club, as he is no longer part of the plans.
This comes after former Man United chief scout Mick Brown first told Football Insider in October that Bamford wants to leave Leeds in the near future.
Leeds United fans stunned by what Harry Gray did in new footage
The pre-season clash took place on 22 July, but fans continue to share footage of his performance via social media as they were left stunned by his highlights.
Gray has been tipped for big things at Leeds, with some suggesting he could replace Bamford after Farke confirmed the striker would be leaving Elland Road.
Taking to social media in response to his display against Verl, the forward has been labelled “unreal” and “delightful”, with one fan comparing him to Harry Kane.
