Lewis Steele of the Daily Mail revealed that Bayern Munich star Michael Olise is “at the top of the shopping list” as a replacement for Salah.
He added that the club are aiming to sign a successor either next summer or in 2027, and Olise is among the names considered.
Olise only joined Bayern last summer but has already made a major impact in Germany, scoring 12 goals and providing 15 assists across all competitions in his debut season. He also lifted the Bundesliga title at the first attempt.
Football Insider previously revealed that Man City attempted to hijack Bayern’s deal for Olise last summer, but it remains to be seen whether they will enter the race again should Liverpool make their move in the near future.
