‘This is breathtaking’ – Justin Kluivert reacts to confirmed Antoine Semenyo news
Bournemouth stars shared a response to Antoine Semenyo’s latest announcement from the club on social media.
Bournemouth have started the Premier League season on form, with the Cherries winning three league fixtures in a row.
Semenyo has been key for the Andoni Iraola’s side, netting three times and providing two assists in four games.
The winger had stayed at the club beyond the transfer deadline despite a number of key players leaving the side this summer.
The likes of Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez and Illia Zabarnyi had left Bournemouth, and while Semenyo has seen interest from Tottenham, he remained on the south coast.
His form from last term has carried on into this season, and one of his goals has been recognised by the club.

Antoine Semenyo wins goal of the month for Bournemouth
Bournemoth announced that Semenyo has been awarded the side’s goal of the month award for August.
The strike was Semenyo’s solo run and finish against Liverpool on the opening day that brought the game back to 2-2. Despite his impact, Federico Chiesa and Mohamed Salah scored two late goals to hand the Reds the win.
The announcement was posted on Instagram, which saw the winger himself repost it on his own page. Teammates such as Justin Kluivert, Evanilson and Bafode Diakite all showed support by liking the post.
Semenyo had signed a new deal at Bournemouth in the summer to deter any interested clubs – a boost for the club considering the other players that had left the side.
However, Football Insider revealed Semenyo could leave for a higher fee in future windows, and that the Ghanaian’s new deal doesn’t guarantee his long-term future.
Bournemouth anticipate interest in Antoine Semenyo
The former Bristol City man was on the radar of multiple clubs during the summer, and his explosive start to the new campaign is only expected to increase that attention.
Football Insider revealed on 16 September that Bournemouth are preparing to potentially lose Semenyo next summer, as they expect it to be difficult to keep him for another year.
With Man United and Tottenham previously linked with Semenyo, time will tell if their interest is reignited in the winger.
