Thomas Frank is already favourite to be appointed manager of Premier League club above Tottenham after confirmed news
Thomas Frank’s reign at Tottenham came to an end on Wednesday as he was dismissed from the North London club.
Spurs’ 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United proved to be the final straw as their winless run in the Premier League extended to eight matches to leave them 16th in the table.
Now, whoever is brought in will be looking to guide Tottenham away from the relegation zone, with the North London club just five points above West Ham.
However, while Frank has left Spurs in a mess, he could be in line for a quick return to the Premier League as he is quickly made the favourite for the manager’s position of Crystal Palace, who are three places and three points ahead of the north Londoners.
The Club has taken the decision to make a change in the Men’s Head Coach position and Thomas Frank will leave today.

Thomas Frank instant favourite for Crystal Palace job after Tottenham sacking
Ever since Oliver Glasner confirmed he would be leaving Crystal Palace at the end of the season, plenty of managers have been linked to the Eagles.
Gareth Southgate emerged as an early contender at Selhurst Park, while Cesc Fabregas was also in the running.
Now, after Frank’s dismissal, one bookmaker has instantly made the Dane the favourite for the job.

Frank is now just 2/1 to take the job, with Oddschecker on 11 February confirming that his odds have been slashed.
Who else is in the running for the Crystal Palace job?
After Frank, Roger Schmidt is considered the second-favourite for the role at 4/1.
The former Benfica manager has been out of work since 2024, and has previously coached many of Europe’s top sides.
Frank Lampard, Southgate and Jose Bordalas all follow next at 10/1.
Lampard has earned plenty of praise this season for his management of Coventry City. While the West Midlands side’s form has fallen off in recent weeks, they are still on track to return to the Premier League.
Southgate needs no introduction and is still on the hunt for his first role in the dugout since he left the England National Team job in 2024 after their European Championship final defeat.

In comparison, Bordalas has earned plenty of praise for his work at Getafe in Spain.
The 61-year-old coach currently has the side 11th in La Liga, with the club still in the race to secure European football next season.
Nevertheless, it remains to be seen who Palace opt to appoint once Glasner leaves the club.
