‘Thomas Frank makes Manor Solomon decision at Tottenham amid Leeds return links’
Manor Solomon’s future has taken a new twist since returning from Leeds United after Thomas Frank’s arrival at Tottenham.
The Israeli international was an instant hit with the Elland Road faithful, going on to notch 10 goals and 12 assists in the Championship, even scoring the all-important goal to send the Whites back to the Premier League.
Having impressed away from North London last season, there has been debate over whether to cash in on the 25-year-old winger or keep him in Frank’s squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Football Insider reported in May that Leeds would have to compete for Solomon’s signature, with Ligue 1 giants Marseille one of the high-profile teams to join the race this summer.
However, with Ange Postecoglou now replaced by Daniel Levy in favour of the former Brentford boss, a new plan for the exciting winger has emerged at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Thomas Frank impressed by Manor Solomon
Taking to X, Sky Sports Switzerland journalist Sacha Tavolieri (14 June) wrote: “Manor Solomon will start pre-season with Tottenham. Thomas Frank likes what he sees and wants to check him out in training.
“Currently, the plan is that Manor is staying and playing for Tottenham this season.”
Leeds United likely to miss out on star winger this summer
Football Insider verdict
It is certainly no surprise to see the interest in Solomon spiking after his season at Elland Road, but it will come as a huge blow to those at the newly-promoted side.
The 25-year-old dominated the left flank, linking up beautifully with Junior Firpo, who also looks set to leave the Whites this summer, and keeping the likes of Willy Gnonto and Largie Ramazani on the bench.
Solomon’s healthy return to North London will come as a boost for Spurs, though, with Son-Heung-min’s future at Tottenham no longer certain, and the need for more stars to improve on last season.

While some players’ futures are up in the air this summer, there is an excitement brewing, especially as Frank attempts to bring Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford to Spurs with him.
After the Lilywhites finished 17th in the Premier League, there is clearly a lot of work to be done in North London over the next few seasons, but winning the Europa League title should be a good starting place.
Fans are still coming to terms with the cut-throat change in managers, but once the 2025/26 season kicks off, it will become clear why Levy went with the Danish figure this summer.
