Thomas Frank reveals what the Lewis family have done since Daniel Levy’s Spurs exit
Tottenham were rocked by the news that sporting director Daniel Levy was leaving the club after over 20 years in North London, earlier in September.
Levy was a controversial figure at Tottenham, and the reaction to his exit from the club was considerably mixed.
Thomas Frank was brought to Tottenham this summer by Levy, and the new boss has got his side off to a great start in the Premier League.
Tottenham drew 2-2 with Brighton on Saturday, thanks to a late own goal from Jan Paul van Hecke, and will prepare to face Wolves in the league next Saturday evening.
New Tottenham signing Xavi Simons was the last marquee deal that Levy pulled off at the club, and the attacking midfielder will want to find some form against the league’s bottom club on Saturday.

Thomas Frank thanks the Lewis family for their help after Daniel Levy’s departure
Frank has spoken in his pre-match press conference ahead of Tottenham’s meeting with Wolves, and mentioned Levy’s exit.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Frank opened up about how the Lewis family have been there to help the Dane through the tough period.
Frank said: “I am to start with very stable, Daniel had been here 25 years and then change came. OK, I didn’t expect that. Since then the Lewis family has been very good, very transparent that club is not for sale. For me personally, I feel in a very stable environment.“
Tottenham have been embroiled in takeover talk in recent weeks following Levy’s departure but at present, it appears the Lewis family are intent on retaining their ownership of the club.
Thomas Frank can change Tottenham’s culture
Levy’s decision to sack Ange Postecoglou after Tottenham’s Europa League victory in May turned a lot of heads.
It was uncharacteristically ruthless from Levy, but his decision to turn to Frank received a more uniform approval.
Frank is a manager of strict principles, coming from a rigid footballing structure at Brentford, and he has the potential to change the culture at Tottenham from top to bottom.

The Danish head coach will likely go under the radar in the press and make Tottenham a high-functioning unit on the pitch in all departments, like he did at Brentford.
After years of uncertainty and manager turbulence, Frank finally provides Tottenham with a solid base from which success will seem much more achievable in the future.
