Thomas Tuchel set for Chelsea fall-out after ‘big’ news – pundit
Thomas Tuchel would clash with Cristiano Ronaldo if he signed for Chelsea, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England forward claimed Tuchel’s time at Paris Saint-Germain showed that he cannot deal with “big personalities”.
The Athletic‘s David Ornstein reported on Monday (4 July) that Chelsea were considering a move for the 37-year-old superstar forward.

He has asked to leave Old Trafford and Todd Boehley has previously had a meeting with his agent Jorge Mendes where Ronaldo was discussed.
Asked whether Ronaldo would suit Chelsea, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “I don’t think so at all, not at all.
“There are not many teams that he would fit in to because teams are high press.
“[Romelu] Lukaku struggled with that pressing at Chelsea. I don’t think it’s someone who Thomas Tuchel would even be interested in bringing in.
“Tuchel struggled with big personalities at PSG, the likes of Neymar and Mbappe, I don’t think he would want a big, big player who is bigger than the manager to come into his club.
“Maybe the owner might want him but I don’t think Tuchel will want him because of what happened at PSG.
“At the moment at Chelsea, he’s got players who is he bigger than, if Ronaldo comes he’s bigger than the manager.”

Chelsea are in the market for a goalscorer this summer after Romelu Lukaku returned to Inter Milan on a season-long loan.
Ronaldo scored 18 times in 30 Premier League games in 2021-22 as Man United finished sixth.
