Three Aberdeen stars McInnes must swoop for if appointed Rangers boss
Stevie May
The Dons striker hasn’t really lived up to the hype that surrounded him earlier in his career – although after a couple of serious injuries it’s a bit more understandable.
May returned to Scottish football over the summer after a torrid time in England and is doing well for the Dons.
He’s never likely to score goals at a prodigious rate like a Kris Boyd or Ally McCoist but would offer something different to the Gers’ front-line and could make a decent long-term replacement for Kenny Miller.
A move to Ibrox also get him out of that ridiculous ‘May 83’ jersey with the Gers probably a bit less willing to celebrate Aberdeen winning something.
In other Rangers news, Chris Sutton has made a very bold claim about this Tuesday decision from the Gers.
