With a third successive victory under their belts and the club hitting the heady heights of fourth, the Newcastle United players will be full of confidence as they look towards their next match.

Saturday saw the Magpies see off Stoke City 2-1 at St James’ Park, with Christian Atsu and Jamaal Lascelles finding the back of the net to ensure that all three points remained on Tyneside.

The result followed an impressive away win at Swansea last weekend, with Lascelles also scoring the match winner in Wales, while West Ham were dismantled by Rafael Benitez’s side in the North East before that.
