Murty has the chance to make a case for getting the job until at least the end of the season as he takes charge between now and the end of the year.
If he gets good results against Hibs and Celtic fans would clamour for Murty to get the job.
He seemed to have no chance of being manager following losses to Hamilton and Dundee but bounced back with two wins over Aberdeen, also seems to be very popular with the playing squad.
The fans also seem very content with the thought of having Murty in charge.
