Star attackers among three Celtic players who must be axed v Partick

Celtic go into Saturday’s Scottish Cup tie against Partick Thistle looking to respond after a poor performance against Kilmarnock.
The Hoops went down to only their second defeat of the season, after an insipid display in which they failed to have a shot on target until the 90th minute of the game which they lost 1-0.
Another poor performance against Partick Thistle is not acceptable, as defeat would see the Hoops’ dreams of an unprecedented second consecutive domestic treble come to an end.
The Bhoys are also in need of a good performance ahead of the Europa League tie against Zenit, so a confidence boosting win against Partick would be just what is needed.
Brendan Rodgers may well make changes to his team in an attempt to return to winning ways, and reach the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup.
