Three decisions Felix Zwayer got wrong in Tottenham’s defeat vs PSG
Tottenham lost 5-3 to PSG despite arduous efforts to try and win the match in Paris against the European champions on 26 November.
Prior to the match, former Man United senior scout Mick Brown exclusively told Football Insider that Thomas Frank is facing growing calls to be sacked at Tottenham.
The north London outfit have been in a turgid run of form with Tottenham fans unhappy with Frank’s overly pragmatic brand of football.
In a repeat of the UEFA Super Cup over the summer, Football Insider reviews the decisions referee Felix Zwayer got wrong in the Spurs and PSG match.

Richarlison escapes early yellow card
Following a tepid start to the match and moments before scoring the opener of the match, Richarlison‘s frustrations were showing.
The Brazilian was involved in a bizarre altercation with Joao Neves a few phases of play earlier, before he lunged for a loose ball on the halfway line in the 33rd minute.
Sliding to win the ball after a dodgy first touch, the former Everton man took out Willian Pacho and the lateness of the challenge could’ve seen the first yellow card of the game.
Pape Sarr plays with fire by kicking the ball away
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia raised an enquiry when Zwayer missed a debatable moment of time-wasting from Pape Sarr.

In the 40th minute, the Senegalese won a tackle in Spurs’ defensive third, knocking the ball out for a throw-in.
The ball then bounced back in to play which was swiftly kicked away by the number 29 which briefly infuriated the Georgian.
The action could’ve seen a silly yellow card be brandished which was not picked up by the match official.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia avoids a caution with Tottenham on the break
The Georgia international was involved in more drama in the 55th minute as he was the purpetrator.

The number seven took down Micky van de Ven just outside the Tottenham 18-yard box, stopping a potential marauding run from the back.
It was also the ex-Napoli man’s second foul, which was rather cynical, and could’ve seen him pick up a yellow card.
