Everton have confirmed that Sam Allardyce has been sacked after just six months at Goodison Park.
Allardyce, 63, was hired to replace Ronald Koeman in November and signed a two-year deal which has been terminated early after he failed to win over the supporters with his ugly brand of football.
Although Everton did finish eighth in the Premier League table – just one place lower than what Koeman achieved last term – the club announced on their official Twitter account and official website that Allardyce has left the Merseyside club in a short statement.

Now Allardyce has gone, it is surely time to also clear out some of the players that have also contributed to what fans perceive as a bad season.
Koeman spent heaps of cash on signings last summer, but just a handful of them have performed to their required levels.
